{"id":13403,"date":"2021-01-06T10:00:13","date_gmt":"2021-01-06T09:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/heimathub.de\/brunnen-in-aschaffenburg-7-der-brentanobrunnen\/"},"modified":"2024-04-04T15:23:43","modified_gmt":"2024-04-04T13:23:43","slug":"brunnen-in-aschaffenburg-7-der-brentanobrunnen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/heimathub.de\/brunnen-in-aschaffenburg-7-der-brentanobrunnen\/","title":{"rendered":"Brunnen in Aschaffenburg (7) &#8211; Der Brentanobrunnen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Einer der sch\u00f6nsten Brunnen der Stadt ist gar nicht so leicht zu entdecken \u2013 er steht abseits der \u00fcblichen Wege in der M\u00e4lzerei-Passage zwischen Stein- und Treibgasse.<br \/>\nAus acht R\u00f6hren, die in zwei Reihen versetzt \u00fcbereinander angeordnet sind, pl\u00e4tschert das Wasser in eine achteckige Brunnenschale. Ein schlanker Stamm w\u00e4chst aus ihr in die H\u00f6he. Am Fu\u00dfe einer Hecke, aus der sich eine halb ge\u00f6ffnete Knospe erhebt, sitzt ein sch\u00f6ner J\u00fcngling. Zwischen den Bl\u00e4ttern und Bl\u00fcten verbirgt sich ein M\u00e4dchen, eine Nymphe.<\/p>\n<p>Geschaffen wurde dieser filigrane Brunnen 1987 von dem Aschaffenburger K\u00fcnstler Bernhard Vogler. Die Stadt Aschaffenburg hatte ihn beauftragt, einen Brunnen in Erinnerung an den romantischen Dichter Clemens Brentano zu entwerfen. Brentano hielt sich \u00f6fters bei seinem Bruder Christian in dessen Haus in der Webergasse auf, wo er schlie\u00dflich nach dreiw\u00f6chigem Krankenlager im Juli 1842 verstarb. Sein Grab befindet sich auf dem <a href=\"https:\/\/aschaffenburgzweinull.stadtarchiv-digital.de\/altstadtfriedhof-ein-historischer-stadtgeschichtlicher-ort\/\">Altstadtfriedhof<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bernhard Vogler verarbeitete in dem Brunnen eines der italienischen M\u00e4rchen von Clemens Brentano, das M\u00e4rchen vom Myrtenfr\u00e4ulein:<br \/>\nIn einem sandigen Land, wo wenig Gr\u00fcnes w\u00e4chst, pflegt der Prinz von Porzellania f\u00fcrsorglich einen Myrtenstock. Schlie\u00dflich entdeckt er darin ein wundersch\u00f6nes Myrtenfr\u00e4ulein.
